The Chisolm Trail lot bounded by Main and Houston at 3rd and 4th, will be transformed into a 2500 square-foot stage where ESPN will be broadcasting live all throughout Superbowl Week. Starting tomorrow, crews will be installing a 48-by-28 football field on Main Street, as well as a pair of Jumbotron screens. Beginning January 31st, “Mike & Mike in the Morning”, among other ESPN shows and specials, will be on-location live in downtown Fort Worth.
Stephanie Druley of ESPN, along with Mayor Mike Moncrief, Sundance Square founder and downtown visionary Ed Bass, and John Goff, CEO of Crescent Real Estate announced during a joint-press conference ESPN’s decision to have Downtown Fort Worth’s Sundance Square be their broadcast center during Superbowl Week of the upcoming Superbowl XLV.
